About Puravane
Puravane makes simple, well-made essentials for the eight hours you spend asleep.
We started with one problem: a lot of people breathe through their mouth at night without ever realising it, then wake up with a dry mouth, a sore throat and the feeling that they never really rested. Most of what claims to help is either uncomfortable, clinical-looking, or built to be thrown out after a week. So we made the two things that actually help you breathe through your nose, and we made them properly.
What we make
- Sleep Strips - mouth tape, 60 strips per pouch. A soft, hypoallergenic strip that holds your lips comfortably closed so you breathe through your nose.
- Nasal Strips - 30 drug-free strips per pouch that gently lift the sides of your nose open, for sleep, congestion or exercise.
- The Sleep Kit - both pouches together, for people who want to do both at once.
How we think about it
- Comfortable enough to actually use. A strip you pull off at 2 a.m. does nothing for you.
- Honest about what it does. Nasal breathing helps many people sleep better and snore less. It is not a treatment for sleep apnea, and we will never tell you otherwise.
- No filler. No invented science, no borrowed statistics, no permanent "sale" prices.

Before you use mouth tape or nasal strips
These are comfort products for otherwise healthy adults. Do not use mouth tape if you have sleep apnea, diagnosed or suspected; if your nose is blocked by a cold, allergies or a structural obstruction; or if you have been drinking alcohol or taking sedatives.
If you snore heavily, gasp or stop breathing during sleep, or feel exhausted during the day, talk to a doctor before using any sleep-breathing product. Keep both products away from children.
There is more on all of this in our Sleep Blog, including a beginner's guide to mouth taping and a side-by-side look at nasal strips versus mouth tape.
